• Check furnace/boiler for presence of carbon monoxide
• Check burner flame for proper characteristics including gas adjustment, and clean burner if necessary at no additional cost
• Checked piolt/ignitor operation, clean pilot if necessary
• Check pilot safety timing and replace thermocouple if necessary
• Check furnace filters and indicate proper size and type
• Check operation of motors and oil as required, replace belts if necessary (cost of belt extra)
• Check operational sequence, which includes safety controls and thermostat
• Check condition of vent pipe to chimney and draft intensity
• Remove dust, scale and soot from burner compartment
• Provide a written record of furnace/boiler tune-up
• Provide answers to your questions on operating and maintaining furnace efficiency
